Director – Plant Operations

Munson Medical Center, a 391-bed regional referral center and Level II Trauma Center in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan is seeking a Director –Plant Operations. This individual provides direction and leadership for the Plant Engineering managers for maintenance, power plant, grounds, offsite ambulatory and business facilities, clinical engineering and HVACR and ultimately their staffs.

Requirements include: bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline and six years management responsibility for facility-wide maintenance of commercial, industrial/hospital buildings or an associate’s degree with eight years of facility wide maintenance experience. Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of all pertinent regulatory agency requirements (e.g., JCAHO, MDPH, State Fire Marshall, MIOSHA). Must have outstanding communication/ relationship skills.
