At the opening day of the ASHE Annual Conference in Seattle, both the Indiana Society for Healthcare Engineering (ISHE) and the Purdue ASHE Student Chapter received awards:
- ISHE received the the Platinum Elite award. Recognized as the highest award level, Platinum-level chapters are committed to their partnership with ASHE through their support of ASHE’s long-range plans and objectives. Criteria include the areas of education, leadership, advocacy, website, communication, finances, and planning. Elite status is added for meeting special criteria including participation in the ASHE Energy to Care Chapter Challenge, part of an overall sustainability effort.
- The Purdue chapter received the Bronze student chapter award which focuses on education, leadership, communications, and planning.
