The Governor of Indiana signed an executive order extending the Indiana Public Health Emergency (PHE) through July 31, 2021. The Indiana State Department of Health (IDH) blanket waivers regarding the physical environment are tied to the PHE. At this point, there has not been any notification from IDH that the blanket waivers are being rescinded.

There have been unofficial signals that the waivers might end soon, with a period of time provided for us to return spaces that have been changed, based on the waivers, to their pre-COVID use. Until we receive word from the State that the waivers will be rescinded, we will continue to use those spaces where we still have a need.

We will continue to monitor IDH and the Governor’s office activity and will provide an update if there are changes to the waiver status.
