Alise Howlett has over twenty-eight years of experience working in the built environment with focused expertise in the arenas of compliance, design, and construction management. Her experience with historic buildings and unique construction provides valuable insight into communicating compliance issues and collaborating with diverse user groups.
Alise is an ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) and a Certified Fire Plans Examiner under the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), a distinction that verifies knowledge of NFPA 1, NFPA 101 and referenced life safety standards through exam and practicum. She uses her expertise and instructional skills as a standards advisor for HFAP, a nationally recognized program of AAHHS, with deeming authority from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Ms. Howlett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and has served on local, state, and national American Institute of Architects (AIA) boards.
