We are seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Coordinator to accelerate and enhance our integrated project delivery to produce exceptional outcomes for our healthcare clients. The perfect candidate will provide leadership, client focus, outcomes focus, and be a collaborative part of a growing, innovative, and cohesive ERDMAN team.
This position performs general quality assurance inspections during construction. After construction has been completed and the building has been turned over to the Client, the Construction Quality Assurance Coordinator will continue to represent ERDMAN by providing warranty service and assistance to our Client throughout the warranty period. Typical job responsibilities include:
- Conducting a thorough plan review prior to first printing on all projects
- Conducting thorough project inspections during construction and informing the ERDMAN Team of any quality issues
- Conducting service inspections during the warranty period and then informing the ERDMAN Team of any quality issues
- Tracking repair work through to completion
- Closely managing warranty and service repair cost
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree or two years of formal preparation (carpentry training)
- Five years of relevant work experience to include previous experience with quality inspections of commercial buildings
- Self-starter with a history of setting and achieving goals
- Knowledge of construction means and methods
- Knowledge of building materials
- Knowledge of commercial building contract terminology
- Ability to inspect and analyze maintenance problems
- Ability to move around projects in various stages
- Ability to read construction drawings
